Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services announces the temporary closure of the Claude Moore Recreation and Community Center gymnasium on Tuesday, June 24, and Wednesday, June 25, for the replacement of the gym’s Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) units.
During this two-day period, there will be no activities inside the gymnasium.
The HVAC replacement project is limited to the gymnasium and will not impact air conditioning in the rest of the building. All other amenities and programs throughout the facility will continue as scheduled without interruption. Due to unforeseen delays, this work could not be completed during the center’s scheduled annual maintenance period.
