A 2-year-old girl was abducted during a South Side home invasion Wednesday morning on the South Side.
Around 4:50 a.m., three armed offenders, including a woman known to the residents, broke into the home in the 4800 block of South Michigan Avenue and took the 2-year-old girl along with a Nissan hatchback and other items, Chicago police said.
They then fled with the child in the Hatchback, police said.
The incident appears to be domestic and no injuries were reported.
No one was in custody as Area 1 detectives continue to investigate.
