INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis metro police are investigating after a male was shot and killed on the near east side of Indianapolis Thursday night.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched around 7:27 p.m. to the 2100 block of E. Washington Street in response to a report of a possible person shot.
IMPD said officers arrived and found a male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene, according to IMPD.
As of this article’s publication, police have not provided any suspect information. FOX59/CBS4 is working to learn more about the circumstances that led to Thursday’s fatal shooting.
