On this stretch of Nowogrodzka, the city seems to thin out after dark. Traffic fades, doors close, and the street takes on an almost desolate character — long defined by a single landmark: the monumental Art Deco eagle, cast in metal, perched atop the former Telecommunications Office building. For years, it has been the only detail here that demanded attention. Since October, that has quietly changed with the opening of Iki Izakaya, adding a new point of gravity to an otherwise overlooked fragment of the city.
