A big match has been set for the upcoming AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view, setting the stage for a huge night.
During Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, chaos ensued out in the parking lot. After a match that saw Moxley beat “Speedball” Mike Bailey in a match, things unraveled for the Death Riders. Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir came out to find Wheeler Yuta inside of a white body bag. Just as they pulled him away, Darby Allin came driving in an SUV.
After Shafir pulled Yuta out of the bag, they saw that a note that read “Forbidden Door” had been stapled to his forehead. With Allin and Moxley’s feud now igniting even more, it seems like Allin is ready to take things to the next level. An official match wasn’t confirmed, but it’s likely that Moxley won’t be backing down from a challenge.
AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door will take place on August 24, 2025, at The O2 Arena in London, England. So far, the fully updated card for the event is as follows:
- Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. TBA
