This weekend, the Pro Stock Motorcycle class is off, but the other three major classes of NHRA racing will make up for that absence as the top drivers in Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock compete.
In Top Fuel, Doug Kalitta set the fastest time in qualifying to go to the top of the charts and take the No. 1 spot in Sunday’s bracket. He’ll begin his day against No. 14 qualifier Terry Totten. A win there would send Kalitta straight to the semifinals.
In Funny Car, Jack Beckman had the fastest qualifying run while his teammate Austin Prock qualified second. The duo were the only drivers to make a run in under 3.9 seconds. Those two look like huge favorites this weekend.
Over in Pro Stock, Greg Anderson was the fast qualifier, followed by Dallas Glenn. Glenn won this race a year ago.
