The heat and humidity will persist for another 36 hours before we finally get a break. We’ll see highs near 90 today, but with all that humidity, it’s going to feel more like the upper 90s. Relief is on the way late Wednesday as a weather system moves through, dropping both the humidity and the temperatures.

As a front approaches, we’ll see a chance for showers and thunderstorms, especially late this afternoon. Some of those storms will linger into the evening and overnight, dissipating before sunrise on Wednesday.
Wednesday will be cooler — highs in the mid-80s — but still humid through the afternoon. We could see a few light showers here and there.
Thursday? That’s the day you’ll want to circle on your calendar. Comfortable humidity, plenty of sunshine, and highs in the mid-80s.
Friday stays nice — a bit warmer, but still lower humidity, so it’ll be a good day to get outside.
The heat and humidity make a comeback this weekend. Saturday will be in the low 90s with that sticky air, and Sunday will be a repeat. Monday stays hot and humid, but by midweek next week, we’ll start to cool back down.
