Finally, after 18 weekends IN A ROW with some rain across the state, we break that streak today making it a totally dry weekend! Yesterday, though featured some high clouds, was a spectacular summer day with 80s, low humidity, and a light breeze.
The heat and humidity returns starting Today and may last into Tuesday with highs near 90s, feeling like 100 in spots with the high levels of humidity. There could be a few evening showers Monday then we are watching for the chance for some big thunderstorms on Tuesday evening.
We may get a break in the rain mid week before more unsettled weather becomes possible later in the week with cooler temps with highs struggling to reach 80 in spots!
Note: Tropical Storm Chantal has formed off of Coastal South Carolina! It looks like it will make landfall early Sunday morning in South Carolina as a weak Tropical Storm!

Tonight: A few passing clouds, warm and humid. Lows near 70
Monday: Hazy, hot and humid with highs in the low to mid 90s inland! Cooler SE Beaches.

Tuesday: Showers and locally strong thunderstorms. Humid. Highs 85-90.
Wednesday: Clouds and sun with a pm storm possible. Highs in the mid-80s.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. Chance of showers and thundershowers. Highs in the low-80s.
Friday: Unsettled with more scattered showers possible. Highs upper 70s to near 80.
Saturday: Clouds and some sun. A scattered shower still possible. Highs in the low 80s
Sunday: Sun and clouds, on the cool side. Highs upper 70s to near 80.
