CHICAGO — A 27-year-old is in critical condition after a stabbing during a physical altercation on Chicago’s South Side on Tuesday, according to police.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 7800 block of South Sanagamon Street. Police say the victim and unidentified suspect got in a fight, resulting in the suspect pulling out a sharp object and stabbing the victim in the abdomen.
The victim was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
Area Two Detectives are investigating. No arrests have been made.
