Little Rock-based nonprofit Goodwill Industries of Arkansas recently reopened its Goodwill Resource Center (GRC) and Outlet Store at 1301 N. Dixieland Road in Rogers after the building owner and the nonprofit invested $1.25 million into the restoration.
The building, comprising about 250,000 square feet of warehouse and roughly 18,000 square feet of retail space, was damaged by a tornado on May 26, 2024.
The Rogers GRC includes a Mission Services Center, which provides job placement assistance and support services for job seekers.
The Rogers Outlet Store is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Between 50 and 60 staff work there.
In the past fiscal year, Goodwill Industries of Arkansas has helped 697 people find work at companies across the state. Through various education, training and employment programs, the nonprofit has provided services to 7,866 Arkansans.
