(KRON) — One person was injured in a shooting overnight Thursday on Interstate 680 in Alamo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers responded at 12:24 a.m. to the shooting, which authorities said appeared to take place on northbound I-680 near Stone Valley Road. One person was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

The person was listed in stable condition as of 8 a.m., according to CHP Sergeant Andrew Barclay.
No further information on the shooting was immediately available.
