LAFOURCHE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A Galliano man, accused of charges involving child pornography, has been arrested.
Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill released on Monday, Aug. 18, that 52-year-old Bronson Joseph Billiot was arrested after Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children,
An investigation into Billiot’s actions was launched with help from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office and Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office.
As a result, Billiot was arrested and booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Center on four counts of distribution of child sexual abuse material involving victims under 13 years old.
The investigation remains ongoing. Billiot’s bond is set at $50,000.
