(KRON) — Four people from San Francisco were arrested on July 3 after they allegedly led police on a chase through American Canyon, Vallejo and the East Bay in a stolen car.
An officer with the American Canyon Police Department attempted to stop the stolen Mazda at 3 a.m. near Newell Drive and Donaldson Way.
“While the vehicle initially came to a stop, it quickly fled the scene at a high rate of speed, leading officers on a pursuit through American Canyon, into Vallejo, and onto westbound Highway 80,” the American Canyon Police Department said.

The chase ended when the car lost a tire and crashed into a median on Highway 80 near San Pablo Dam Road. The driver, Dorian Watts, allegedly tried to run from the scene of the crash but was chased down by police.
The three occupants of the car, Sergio Hernandez, Javier Arredondo, and an unnamed minor, were detained at the scene of the crash. Watts, Hernandez and Arredondo were arrested and booked into the Napa County Jail. The minor was released to a family member.
Two loaded guns were found inside the car. One was reported stolen out of Berkeley and another was an unregistered ghost gun. Police also found and seized ski masks, gloves, a stolen license plate, key fobs, stolen wallets and IDs.
“Watts was booked for 11 felonies, including on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Santa Clara County for failure to appear in court,” the American Canyon Police Department said. “Hernandez and Arredondo were each booked on six felonies. The charges include felony evading, possession of a stolen vehicle and firearm, conspiracy, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.”
