Lollapalooza wrapped its 4-day-long festival Sunday night, and cleanup for the Grant Park festival has begun.
While most road closures around Grant Park will lift Monday, others are planned to extend into next week. Closures around Balbo Drive and Jackson will stay in place through Aug. 9 and 10.
Street closures for the festival began on July 16. In addition to road closures, Grant Park dog park will also be closed through Aug. 9. A temporary dog park is available southeast of the skate park. The tennis and pickle ball courts at the park are set to reopen Aug. 5.
Sabrina Carpenter and A$AP Rocky closed out the festival as headliners on Sunday night, with artists like KATSEYE, The Marías and Remi Wolf performing throughout the day.
Scheduled closures include:
- Congress Plaza Drive will be closed from Michigan Avenue to Columbus Drive through Aug. 4.
- Two center Northbound lanes on Columbus Drive will be closed from 13th Street to Roosevelt Road through Aug. 4.
- Columbus Drive will be closed from Michigan Avenue to Columbus Drive through Aug. 4.
- Monroe Street will be closed from Michigan Avenue to DuSable Lake Shore Drive through Aug. 4.
- Balbo Drive will be closed from Michigan Avenue to Columbus Drive through Aug. 4.
- Jackson Drive will be closed from Michigan Avenue to Columbus Drive through Aug. 4.
- Jackson Drive will be closed from Columbus Drive to DuSable Lake Shore Drive through Aug. 9.
- Balbo Drive will be closed from Columbus Drive to DuSable Lake Shore Drive through Aug. 10.
