The show kicked off with Rhea Ripley making her way to the ring, but she didn’t get far before IYO SKY interrupted. IYO said Adam Pearce gave her the authority to choose my challenger for the Women’s World Championship at Evolution. I want to face the very best and that’s why I’m choosing you. Ripley responded with respect, but said that she’s coming for the title, no matter the cost.
Backstage:
Dominik Mysterio told AJ Styles that I’ve had a setback, so I’m still not medically cleared to compete. As a result, I had Adam Pearce confirm the legitimacy of my doctor’s note. If you lay a finger on me before I’m cleared, you can forget about ever getting a shot at my title. Styles fired back, saying that once I am cleared, I’m taking the championship back.
WWE World Tag Team Championship: The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) (c) vs. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh)
As the referee’s attention was diverted, Kingston blindsided Balor with the championship belt and nearly stole the win. Kingston climbed to the top rope, but Balor caught him off guard with a hotshot. McDonagh then tagged in and delivered a Spanish Fly to Woods from the top rope. He followed up with a moonsault, and Balor finished it with a Coup de Grace to pin Woods and win the belts.

Backstage:
Bayley said if Lyra Valkyria didn’t get involved in her business, she would have won the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Lyra interrupted and said I don’t know who you are anymore. They argued until Adam Pearce came in. He ordered a match between the two tonight with the winner getting an Intercontinental Championship match.
Chad Gable told American Made to keep the American spirit while he is gone for his surgery. He then told The Creeds to listen to Ivy.
Finn Balor told Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis that Roxanne Perez should Liv Morgan’s place as Raquel Rodriguez’ partner. Pearce and Aldis agreed to this, but they have to defend the titles against a team from RAW, SmackDown, and NXT at Evolution.
Rusev vs Sheamus
Rusev and Sheamus battled atop the turnbuckle until Rusev jabbed Sheamus in the eye. Taking advantage, he untied the top turnbuckle pad. With the steel exposed, Rusev yanked Sheamus forward, slamming his chest into the metal. Gasping for breath, Sheamus stumbled back right into Rusev’s Monster Kick allowing him to score the pinfall.

Backstage:
Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis announced that there will be a Battle Royal at Evolution with the winner getting championship match at Clash at Paris.
Backstage, as Ivy Nile was saying she is going to win the Battle Royal at Evolution, a guy in the El Grande Americano walked by that was clearly not Chad Gable.
Karrion Kross attacked Sami Zayn with a pipe.
In the ring:
Gunther said Goldberg is 58 years old and is not capable of winning the title. I can beat him in three minutes if I wanted to, but I’m going to take my time, blow him up, and embarrass him in front of everybody. I’m going to bully you and treat you like a piece of crap.
Seth Rollins came out with Paul Heyman. Rollins said he didn’t fly to Saudi Arabia to cash in his Money in the Bank on John Cena. He flew there to make sure CM Punk didn’t become a World Champion. My Money in the Bank will now be an assault on both world titles. CM Punk ran to the ring and a brawl erupted between him and Rollins before Rollins left the ring. Punk then pushed Gunther to the ground and left. Knight showed up in the stands to attack Rollins and they brawled in the concession area.
Backstage:
Raquel Rodriguez didn’t seem pleased with the Judgment Day replacing Liv Morgan with Roxanne Perez noting that Liv will come back. Balor said he knows about shoulder injuries and it’s going to take a long time to come back. They took a vote whether Perez should officially be in the Judgment Day. Balor and McDonagh voted yes. Dominik said he would have to check with Liv. Balor told him he has to vote now, so Dominik voted yes. Raquel said yes, but she better hold up her end of the deal. Perez said she will and she will start by taking out Kairi Sane.
Bayley vs Lyra Valkyria
Bayley rolled Lyra up for a pin, but her shoulders were pinned as well. It was ruled this match is a draw. After the match, Bayley went to attack Lyra and both of them brawled outside the ring until officials separated them.
It was announced that Seth Rollins will face LA Knight at Saturday Night’s Main Event
Backstage:
CM Punk said he has receipts coming for Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman. He noticed LA Knight backstage. Punk told Knight I know you have issues with Rollins, but get in the back of the line because he belongs to me. Knight snapped back and said I’m fighting Rollins at Saturday Night Main Event, so I am the line.
Sami Zayn got his ribs taped up. When Penta asked him if he is ready for their tag team match, Zayn assured him he is.
Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed (w/ Paul Heyman vs Sami Zayn & Penta
Zayn went for the Helluva kick on Breakker, but Breakker caught him with a clothesline. Breakker went for the spear on Zayn, but Zayn kicked him in the face for a near fall. Zayn suplexed Reed. Zayn turned around and Breakker hit him with a spear. Breakker followed that up by hitting Penta with a spear. Reed was going to hit a Tsunami on Zayn but stopped when Jey Uso came out with a chair. Breakker charged at Jey in the aisle, but Jey hit him with a couple chair shots to the back. Jey got in the ring and brawled with Reed before throwing the chair at his head sending Reed out of the ring.
