DENVER (KDVR) — Boulder Fire-Rescue responded to a structure fire on Pearl Street on Monday night.
The agency reported the fire at about 8:23 p.m. and said the fire was in the 1000 block of Pearl Street. Pearl Street is known for its walkability, shopping and dining options.
The section of Pearl Street indicated by the fire rescue agency includes the SALT restaurant and Fjallraven Boulder and is just across 11th Street from the Boulder Bookstore.
Boulder Fire-Rescue posted a photo of crews entering a door labeled 1045 Pearl Street, which is in the same building as SALT. According to Google, the building also houses Goodrich Violins and Richard Cummings Photography.
Boulder Fire-Rescue said the building sustained “significant damage” from fire and smoke, but no one was injured.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Crews were still on scene as of 10:30 p.m. to ventilate the building.
