For Immediate Release: Wednesday, July 30, 2025
Registration for Montgomery County Recreation’s fall programs and activities will begin on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 6:30 a.m. for most programs and activities. Registration for all senior programs, including popular offerings such as Bone Builders, Day Trippers, and Senior Outdoor Adventures in Recreation (SOAR), will start at 9 a.m. on the same day.
Non-County residents can register for fall programs beginning Thursday, Aug. 14, at 6:30 a.m.
To help residents prepare for registration, the Fall GUIDE will be available online on Friday, Aug. 1. This comprehensive digital guide will provide detailed information on hundreds of programs, classes, sports leagues, trips, events and other activities available this fall. Offerings include aquatics, fitness, sports, education, health and wellness, art, music, therapeutic recreation, adult 55+ programming and more.
“Montgomery County Recreation offers programs that bring people together, improve health and open doors to new skills and experiences,” said Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich. “These opportunities are for everyone, no matter their age or ability. I encourage residents to look through the Fall GUIDE and register early for the programs they’re interested in. Many of our most popular offerings fill up quickly. And for families who need help with costs, Rec Assist ensures that financial barriers don’t keep anyone from participating.”
