The Jackson County Commission
will accept applications for a
Driver I
with the
Solid Waste Department
from June 18 – July 2, 2025
between the hours of 8:00am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities: Drives truck and picks up household garbage on assigned routes, operates and performs routine maintenance on truck, and provides exceptional customer service. The driver will be responsible for following all safety guidelines and must possess a minimum of a Class B CDL.
Starting Pay – $15.48 – $16.92/hour based on experience
