NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Storms are in the forecast for Saturday throughout our area this afternoon into the evening.

These storms are bringing rumbles of thunder and strong wind gusts to some areas particularly along the Pontchartrain Causeway extending out over the lake where we received reports of gusts ranging from 20-30 m.p.h.
There’s a few spots under a Flood Watch until 7 p.m. (GREEN) and then also a Flood Warning until 5:15 p.m. in case you were planning to do any travel.
