INDIANAPOLIS – A deadly crash on I-70 west of downtown Indianapolis slowed the Monday morning commute.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the incident happened on I-70 eastbound at mile marker 76.7 between Holt Road and Tibbs Avenue around 5:20 a.m.
INDOT’s alert indicated the crash involved a fatality. Indiana State Police said the crash involved a wrong-way driver and confirmed at least two vehicles were involved.
