French offshore vessel player Bourbon has inked a five-year contract with Eni for the renewal of its crewboat fleet with an order for six new vessels.
The contract covers the charter of six new S200X-G2 units, scheduled to be commissioned progressively between June and December 2026.
The six new units will operate on the Eni offshore fields, supporting their two FNLG units.
Pending delivery, six front-runners will be temporarily mobilised to ensure operational continuity from the start of the contract.
The new vessels are based on the Surfers 200x-G design delivered in 2024 but provide significant fuel savings in transit, estimated at 20% versus the previous generation.
These 20 m vessels can transport 30 passengers and have 25 sq m of foredeck space for carrying small parcels.

“With this new fleet, we are reinforcing our commitment to offshore mobility that is more sustainable, more efficient and perfectly aligned with the expectations of our major customers,” said François Leslé, CEO of Bourbon Mobility.
