Montgomery County Launches Annual Back to School Drive to Support Local Students

NORRISTOWN, PA—Montgomery County announces the kickoff of its annual Back to School Drive, running from July 14 through August 22, 2025. This vital initiative supports low-income families across the County by collecting and distributing essential school supplies to ensure every student is equipped for a successful academic year. 

How You Can Help 

Residents, businesses, and community organizations are encouraged to donate new school supplies. The items needed include: 

• Backpacks (greatest need) 

• Binders, notebooks, and folders 

• Crayons, colored pencils, and markers 

• Scientific calculators and flash drives 

• Lunch bags, pencil cases, and headphones 

• Classroom essentials like tissues, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes 

Shop and Ship Directly via Amazon 

To make giving even easier, donors can purchase items from the County’s Amazon Wish List and have them shipped directly to the County.
