SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — An estate in the Coronado Cays floating right on top of the San Diego Bay is about to hit the auction block.
The property, called 3 The Point, is described as “an extraordinary sanctuary where contemporary sophistication meets the timeless allure of waterfront living on San Diego Bay,” according to the listing on Concierge Auctions.
Built in 2021, the property’s 11,715 square feet of footage includes seven bedrooms along with seven full and four partial bathrooms. Each of the bedrooms come with their own private balconies. In addition, the primary suite has a wing with space for an office and more seating.
The waterfront mansion also boasts an array of smart home technology features, two swimming pools and more than 300 feet of private bayfront views and private yacht docks.
Those who dream of owning a home that blends luxury with the serene, blue waters of San Diego Bay may enjoy “unobstructed water views from virtually every room,” per the listing.
The crown jewel, however, is the rooftop deck, which becomes a resort all on its own. It houses one of the two pools on the property as well as a spa, covered and open-air seating areas and more.
Bidding on the mansion opens on Sept. 5 and closes on Sept. 17. The luxury auction is set to take place at The Upper House in Hong Kong, an upscale hotel listed in the Michelin Guide.
Although it is listed for $37.5 million, starting bids are expected to fall between $15 million to $23 million, the listing states.
