Conor Benn is leaving no stone unturned in preparation for his rematch with Chris Eubank Jr.
The bitter rivals are set to square off for a second time on November 15 after their barnburning inaugural encounter earlier this year.
Eubank Jr got his hand raised via unanimous decision, but the Brighton boxer was pushed all the way to the final bell by a tenacious Benn.
As he gears up to avenge his defeat, Benn is sparring at the same frantic pace that he and Eubank Jr set on that fateful night in April.
11 weeks out from their sequel, Benn uploaded a video of some gruelling sparring rounds with Romanian MMA fighter Marius Florin.
And fans were blown away by how sharp Benn looked so early in his fight camp.
One supporter commented: “That left hook is lethal.”
Another wrote: “That inside work is deadly.”
A third posted: “Sharp like a knife.”
A fourth remarked: “Footwork looking clean.”
Meanwhile, somebody else added: “That pressure is crazy.”
Who did Conor Benn spar with for his last fight with Chris Eubank Jr?
Benn got some quality rounds in with several top middleweights and super middleweights ahead of his last meeting with Eubank Jr.
British and European 160lbs champion Denzel Bentley was a constant throughout camp, while Team GB standout Ramtin Musah also acted as a regular sparring partner.
In the final weeks leading up to fight night, he was also joined by former IBF super middleweight champion William Scull and top-rated French fighter Bruno Surace.
Conor’s father, Nigel Benn, boasted about how his son battered Scull from pillar to post during their spar, leading to a fiery response from the Cuban.
“The truth is that we sparred,” Scull said. “I had just come over to Majorca from Granada.
“I had just come from the mountains, and I was at a different stage in my preparation than him.
“It’s sparring, it’s not a real fight, so it’s nothing. It was a good spar and a good experience.
“But what came out from the father of Conor Benn was not true.
“We had good rounds, maybe in some of them he touched me more, and in some I touched him more, that’s sparring.
“But I heard the way his father told it and it’s not true. That I took my gloves off, that’s a lie; that I quit, that’s a lie.
“Many things happened there, and I do not want to make excuses, but I also had a new headguard which kept slipping around. These things happen in sparring, but it doesn’t matter in an actual fight.
“We actually asked them for a second session of sparring, but they said no, they didn’t want it. So it is what it is.”
