Cody Rhodes just got the last laugh on Randy Orton—and he did it by stealing his SUV.
For weeks, WWE has been airing clips of Orton constantly trying (and failing) to prank Rhodes in a series of Fireball Whiskey commercials. Fans have been entertained by the back-and-forth, but in the latest spot, Rhodes finally got his revenge.
The video starts with Orton pulling into a parking lot and tossing his keys to a man he thought was a valet. The man quickly clarified he wasn’t, but that didn’t stop Orton from leaving his SUV behind. Moments later, Rhodes appeared and struck a deal with the man—trading a bottle of whiskey for Orton’s keys.
Orton was then shown inside WWE HQ when he got a phone call telling him his SUV had been stolen and totaled. He rushed back to the lot only to find his vehicle missing, before Rhodes pulled up in it with a smug grin.
“You know Randy, you were right – sometimes it’s more fun to be bad.”
Orton couldn’t hide his satisfaction, proud that he had finally convinced Rhodes of the very lesson he’d been trying to hammer home throughout the entire prank war.
Do you think Cody Rhodes pulling this stunt means a heel turn could be on the horizon, or is it all just fun and games between him and Orton? Share your thoughts in the comments and let us know if you’d like to see this rivalry continue.
