SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Three separate brush fires on Thursday prompted evacuations in an area located east of Jamul.
The three fires, dubbed the Springs Fire, occurred in the area of Lyons Valley Road and Honey Springs Road in Lawson Valley, Cal Fire San Diego posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, at 6:58 p.m.
As of 8:02 p.m., the fire has burned 37 acres and is 0% contained, per Cal Fire.
The County of San Diego’s Emergency Map, found below, shows evacuation orders (red) and warnings (yellow) in place for certain areas.
Cal Fire has requested additional air and ground resources for the fire.
