They’re rolling out free DIY kids’ crafts and a great $3 kids’ meal deal midweek. I like Chicken N Pickle because it’s one of those rare places in Wichita where everyone can have a great time without with lots to do. I love that we can enjoy a meal together and then head outside to play yard games or watch some pickleball. It’s casual, welcoming, and there’s always something going on, whether it’s free bingo, Free Live Music this Fall, or a special event. For me, it’s the perfect mix of good food, fun activities, and a laid-back vibe that makes it easy to create memories without breaking the budget.
Free DIY Kids Crafts on Sundays
From August 3 through October 26, every Sunday from 10 am to 12 pm, they’ll be hosting a free Kids Series featuring hands-on DIY projects. These are creative, drop-in activities for kids, and since they’re first-come, first-served, it’s worth arriving early. And while you’re there on Sundays, don’t forget their free bingo games, something our family always enjoys playing together.

Another favorite in our household is when we find a good Kids Eat Free or Cheap deal. On Wednesdays, kids’ meals are just $3 from 5 pm – Close with the purchase of an adult meal priced at $10.99 or more (limit one kids’ meal per adult). We’ve always been impressed with Chicken N Pickle’s kids’ meals. They’re hearty, tasty, and definitely a step up from the typical small portions at other restaurants.
The game yard at Chicken N Pickle is always free to play, so you can enjoy giant Jenga, bags, and other classic backyard games anytime you visit. With the cooler fall weather on the way, it’s the perfect season to grab a meal, play some games, and make some memories.
