AUBURN, Ind. (WISH) — The DeKalb County Prosecutor’s Office on Sunday released a letter showing charges filed against a suspect in a June police shooting that left him injured.
Kyle Leins, 44, of Auburn, was injured in the police shooting. The letter shows that the officer involved was legally justified in his use of force. Leins was arrested Sunday afternoon and booked into the DeKalb County Jail.
