ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — The man accused of starting fires in the Bosque last week has had his case dropped due to lack of probable cause, according to the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office. Sean Taylor, the suspect in this now-dismissed case, was arrested just last weekend.

Taylor was originally accused of starting three of the five Bosque fires that broke out from Tuesday, June 17 to Saturday, June 21. He was arrested after allegedly being found with a lighter near a fire around Alameda Bridge.
Online court documents say a grand jury could not find probable cause to charge Taylor with arson, and the case was dismissed. The District Attorney’s Office has declined to comment on this dismissal.
