(KRON) – A Vallejo man was arrested after burglary tools and a stolen purse were found in a vehicle without license plates, according to the American Canyon Police Department.
American Canyon police officers pulled over a Volkswagen Jetta that did not have license plates on Kimberly Drive around 4 a.m. on Friday.
Officers said the driver, identified as Vallejo resident Keyshaun Anderson, had a ski mask, gloves and the vehicle’s license plates on the floorboard. Police said officers also found burglary tools, a recently stolen purse, ammunition, and a stolen driver’s license that was linked to a reported burglary.
Anderson was arrested and booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections for multiple charges:
- Possession of burglary tools
- Identity theft
- Burglary
- Receiving stolen property
- Possession of ammunition by a prohibited person
- Petty theft with two or more prior convictions
