Camelback Ventures, a leader in funding and supporting underinvested entrepreneurs, announced it is now accepting applications for its 2026 Camelback Fellowship. The program aims to equip early-stage founders in education and technology with critical resources to scale their ventures amid today’s challenging economic climate. Applications are due by Sept. 10, 2025.
The Fellowship offers selected entrepreneurs $40,000 in capital, executive coaching, and access to a mission-driven network over a 16-week hybrid program combining in-person and virtual sessions. Designed for U.S.-based founders focused on social impact through education and technology, the initiative seeks to bolster resilience and capacity as funding environments grow more competitive.
“As founders navigate economic uncertainty, shifting investor priorities and ecosystem fatigue, we’re evolving to meet them where they are,” said Shawna Young, CEO of Camelback Ventures. “This isn’t just about capital, it’s about community, capacity, and a commitment to seeing our entrepreneurs not just survive, but thrive.”
Founded in 2015, Camelback Ventures has invested more than $8 million in over 200 entrepreneurs, primarily from under-resourced communities, supporting ventures that promote economic mobility and equitable access nationwide.
Reuben Ogbonna, co-founder of The Marcy Lab School and a 2020 fellow, credited Camelback with transforming his approach to leadership and fundraising. “The financial investment was radical for an unproven entrepreneur,” Ogbonna said, highlighting the value of the program’s professional development and network.
Looking ahead, Camelback plans to introduce additional programming in 2026 tailored to the evolving needs of its Fellows, with a continued focus on fostering innovation in education and technology, according to Elaine Atherton, Vice President of Programs.
