CHICAGO — Two men were shot outside a gas station on the city’s Near West Side.
The shooting happened around 10:40 p.m. Monday on the 10-100 block of North Western Avenue.
According to police, a 24-year-old man and a 49-year-old man were standing near a Shell gas station when they were shot at by someone who was traveling in a vehicle.
The 24-year-old man was struck on the legs and also in the head. He was transported to Stroger in critical condition.
The 49-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and buttocks and was also transported to Stroger Hospital in fair condition.
There is no one in custody and Area Three Detectives are investigating.
