Athens State University would like to welcome all alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends to campus for a Homecoming Celebration on Friday, July 25.
The event will begin at 5:00 pm in the Sandridge Student Center Ballroom & Annex where guests are invited to visit and reconnect with former classmates, faculty, and friends. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served.
Then on Saturday, July 26, Athens State will celebrate the Class of 2025 at the Summer Commencement Ceremony at 10:00 am in Carter Gymnasium. During the ceremony, Athens State will also honor the Athens College Class of 1975, who will be celebrating the 50th year of their commencement, alongside our current summer graduates. They will cross the stage in full regalia to receive special recognition and a certificate as an official member of the “50 Year Club.”
