Wrestlers such as John Cena, Dave Bautista, and The Rock have made multiple blockbuster films. Another wrestler who has tested his luck in Hollywood is the Second City Saint CM Punk. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion shared who all are his acting mentors.
Recently, CM Punk was interviewed by ComingSoon.net. During the interview, the Second City Saint revealed who all have been his acting mentors. One of the people that Punk frequently goes to is former WWE Superstar Dave Bautista. The Best in the World mentioned that he and Bautista have been friends for a long time and he always answers all his questions whenever he reaches out.
Punk also shared that his Heels co-star, Mike O’Malley, is also one of his mentors. He also named Arrow and Heels fame, Stephen Amell is also one of his mentors.
“Just because he has been a friend for so long, Dave Bautista. I can reach out to Dave and ask him a million different questions. There are so many people I met along the way that have helped me out greatly. A lot of people on Heels like Mike O’Malley and so many. You meet so many producers, directors. Stephen Amell has been a huge help because, to me, this is his world. Any time I have questions there are definitely people who have a wealth of experience I can reach out to and get an informed opinion from,” CM Punk said.
