CINCINATTI, OH. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – It was another heartbreak in the jungle for the Bengals on Sunday, falling 41-38 in overtime to the Baltimore Ravens.
An interception and a 56-yard field goal from the Ravens sent things into overtime, and Ravens kicker Justin Tucker came in clutch again with the game-winning field goal.
Joe Burrow completed 30 of his 39 attempts and threw for 392 yards and a career-high five touchdowns. That is the first time a quarterback has thrown five touchdowns and lost a game since 2019.
Wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase also had a a standout performance, tallying ten receptions for 193 yards.
However, Lamar Jackson and his offense did not disappoint either. Jackson threw for 348 yards and four touchdowns.
The loss puts the Bengals at 1-4, and they are back on the road next Sunday to face off against the Giants at 8:20 pm.
