Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed Thursday morning in Colorado’s Clear Creek County for a crash near Silverthorne, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. As of 9:55 a.m. Thursday, eastbound I-70 was closed between exit 218 for Herman Gulch, about 13 miles east of Silverthorne, and exit 221 for Bakerville, about 7 miles west of Silver Plume, according to state transportation officials. APTOS — Law enforcement authorities confirmed Wednesday that a firearm, ammunition and mask discovered recently on the campus of Aptos High School are connected to an assault that occurred there three weeks prior, and that there is no ongoing threat to the school or community.
