GALLUP, N.M. (KRQE) – A Gallup man is behind bars, accused of stabbing and killing another man. According to Gallup Police, officers responded to reports of a stabbing at the Family Dollar store on Highway 491 Monday. Bernalillo County plans to revitalize over 500 acres of untouched land by East Mountains Witnesses told police the suspect, identified as 62-year-old Eddie Slim, was chasing another man with a knife. NEWTON COUNTY – A student at Alcovy High School was taken into custody on Wednesday after bringing a knife to school.The Newton County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) confirmed to The Covington News that a 15-year-old male student was taken into custody after a knife was found in his possession.
