A 22-year-old man was killed while in a crosswalk by a driver who ran a red light and struck him before fleeing the scene, police said. Just before 3:30 a.m. Saturday, the man was crossing the street on the 5400 block of South Kedzie in Chicago’s Gage Park neighborhood when he was struck by the driver of a gray vehicle, police said.
