A shooting near the Emory University campus and just outside the headquarters of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta on Friday left two people dead and bullet marks in windows across the sprawling campus. According to the New Orleans Police Department, around 10:14 p.m., one vehicle, driven by the victim, was heading east in the 12000 block of Chef Mentuer Highway at a high rate of speed when he hit the back of another vehicle.
