A golf cart crash in Clifton sent three people to the hospital Saturday afternoon. Crews responded to an area near 220 Hopkins Pond Road around 3:30 p.m, where a golf cart carrying six people had crashed. A 53-year-old woman was found dead in a Waldoboro home Saturday, and Maine State Police are investigating it as a homicide. Waldoboro Police responded to a home on Genthner Road after receiving a 911 call from a person checking on the well being of woman who lived there.
