One of the most popular roller coasters at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee will temporarily close as it undergoes a “major refresh” at the amusement park. The announcement, made Monday on Six Flags Great America’s Facebook Page, said guests’ last chance to ride Raging Bull would be Aug. 18, before it “temporarily closes for a full repaint.” The park, currently open daily, also announced that beginning on Aug. 18, it would move to weekend hours-only through the Labor Day. WARREN COUNTY, Mo. – A Warren County woman is accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars from the fast food restaurant where she works. According to the Wright City Police Department’s probable cause statement, the owner of a McDonald’s franchise contacted police on Aug. 5 and reported an employee, Heather Brand, had stolen cash from the restaurant. The owner told police she had not completed a full check of her bank statements, but believed Brand had stolen at least $6,000.
