The death toll from Israeli-imposed starvation in the Gaza Strip has risen to 251, including 108 children, according to the Palestinian health officials.  They said that “Gaza hospitals recorded 11 deaths within 24 hours, including a child, due to acute malnutrition.” Since early March, Israel has imposed a near total blockade on the entry of food and humanitarian assistance into Gaza. TONTITOWN, Ark. (KNWA/FOX24) — The commonly criticized Eco Vista Landfill run by Waste Management in Tontitown had a large fire Aug. 14 around 3:35 p.m., upsetting residents once again. According to a statement from Waste Management, the fire took around two hours to contain and nearly five hours to extinguish. The cause of the fire is unknown. However, in the same statement, it was labeled a Class IV fire, meaning the fire consisted of “construction and demolition” materials. Erin has strengthened into a powerful Category 4 hurricane in the Caribbean, the National Hurricane Center said Saturday.The storm is currently 150 miles (240 kilometers) northeast of Anguilla with maximum sustained winds of 130 mph (215 kph).
