A student at a beauty school in Davie was killed in a murder-suicide shooting Tuesday involving her ex-boyfriend, police said. The incident unfolded outside the Aveda Institute South Florida in the 4100 block of University Drive. In a statement Wednesday, Davie Police said the victim was a 20-year-old student of the school and the shooter was a 25-year-old man. The two had previously been in a relationship, police said.
