BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A male pedestrian was injured on Tuesday after he was struck by bricks that reportedly fell from the Liberty Building downtown, Buffalo police said.
Emergency crews responded to the building around 1:10 p.m. It was reported that the pedestrian was awake and alert at the scene after being hit in the head by the brick. He was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
Falling debris is believed to be from the 13th floor. An investigation into the cause of the incident and the condition of the building is underway.
