DENVER (KDVR) — Aurora police are investigating a bomb threat made over email to a middle school. Police said there is “no immediate threat to students or faculty safety.”
A police spokesperson told FOX31 the department got a bomb threat call at Liberty Middle School at 3:46 p.m., after school had let out. A Cherry Creek School District official said some teachers and students were still at the school, however, so the school was evacuated.
The police spokesperson said the department’s K9 unit is also at the school investigating.
The school district spokesperson said after-school activities were canceled.
The threat came over email and mentioned a bomb in a classroom, according to the school district.
