GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10)– Anthropologie, a women’s clothing and home goods store, is set to hold a grand opening on August 6. The retailer will be located between Peaches Café and Talbots on the plaza’s north side.
Shoppers can celebrate the grand opening from 10 a.m. to noon. During the day, shoppers can take home a free mini-flower bouquet with any purchase.
“Anthropologie’s arrival is a milestone for the Capital District, introducing the brand’s distinctive blend of style, creativity and lifestyle inspiration to the region for the very first time,” Rachel Ferluge, the plaza’s general manager said in December.
In the weeks before its opening, Ferluge said it’s one of the most anticipated stores to the plaza.
“Anthropologie is one of the most highly anticipated additions to Stuyvesant Plaza, and we’re just as excited as our guests to welcome this iconic lifestyle brand to the Capital Region,” said Stuyvesant Plaza General Manager Rachel Ferluge. “This grand opening marks the arrival of a true retail staple, and we’re proud to celebrate alongside our community.”
The grand opening celebrations will continue through the weekend, especially on August 9 between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. with happy hour drink specials and music from a DJ.
