ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — The Albuquerque Isotopes announced new food specials for the coming week. The specials on the menu follow the theme of “Nacho Average Wednesday” on Aug. 20.

Items include green chile philly nachos, taquito nachos, and elote nachos. “It’s an elotes dip. It has a queso fresco, it has tri-colored chips on it…” said Executive Chef Jim Griego. “So it’s kind of a little bit spicy. This is one that we’ve kind of- I’ve been playing with this dip for a little while, and I think that we can really put this out in some different products and some different places out in the concourse.”
The treats are a part of their promotional schedule, in addition to the ASL night on Aug. 22, a pre-game performance by Al Hurricane on Aug. 23, and Sesame Street day scheduled for Aug. 24.
