This November, Alabama will once again participate in the NIL incentivized Players Era Tourney. Each team in Vegas will receive $1M, with the winner taking home a $3 million check.
The Tide were the runner-up last year, after dropping the final to the Oregon Ducks.
And now their opponents, and the format, has been revealed. Alabama will play the hometown UNLV Rebels in a late game mountain time, and has a primetime matchup with Gonzaga, in a game that will feed families for weeks.

There will of course be more than two 2-0 teams in a 16-team invitational, so to determine who advances, the Era will use point differential, total points scored and points allowed will all affect the tally and serve as tiebreakers.
The consolation game is primetime Eastern the following day, with the championship tilt scheduled for primetime Mountain.
This year’s field is significantly more stacked than last year. In addition to the Zags and ‘Bama, as well as the hometown Rebels and the SDSU Aztecs, the Era plays host to St Johns (who Alabama will have just played three weeks earlier at Madison Square Garden Square), Kansas, Creighton, Baylor, and four other squads who advanced at least to the Elite Eight (Auburn, Tennessee, Michigan, Iowa State).
Whoever wins this one, has definitely earned that three million.
