Air Canada in the coming weeks will expand service to India, including new nonstop service between Montreal and Delhi, the carrier announced.
The Montreal-Delhi service will begin Oct. 31, timed to begin just before Diwali celebrations start in India, and operate three times per week on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. Starting Friday, Air Canada also will increase its service between Toronto and Delhi to 10 flights per week.
Air Canada restarted service to Delhi from both Toronto and Vancouver in late September as the Canadian governments reduced restrictions on flights from India. The carrier plans to resume service to Mumbai “when conditions permit.”
