Former Washington Capitals teammates and friends T.J. Oshie and Nicklas Bäckström have listed their homes in McLean for sale at the same time.
So if you’re looking to walk in the footsteps of two players who helped bring the Stanley Cup back to D.C. in 2018, now’s your chance.
The homes are in the coveted Langley Farms neighborhood and are within walking distance of one another.
But they come at a hefty price.

Oshie’s home, at 11,000 sq.ft., is listed for just under $10 million, with six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and two half baths. There’s even a putting green in the back. Listing agent Piper Yerks with Washington Fine Properties calls it “Striking in both form and proportion.”
Bäckström’s house is going for closer to $12 million, and it has more 17,000 sq.ft. with 7 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. The kitchen is “the pinnacle of culinary excellence”, according to agent Sharif Abdallah with Compass. That’s code for some really expensive appliances.

The house features wide-plank white oak floors, sleek, neutral tones and wide open sight lines.
The listings come after Oshie hung up his skates and moved to Minnesota to be with his family and Bäckström signed to play with his hometown team in Sweden.
